What this is

CustomTshirtPrinting.net is an independent testing and review publication for custom t-shirt printing services. We place real test orders — with our own money — and publish the results. We are not paid by any printer for our reviews. We do earn affiliate commissions on outbound links (see disclosure below).

What we actually tested

For our February–March 2026 review cycle, we placed 15 orders across 5 platforms: Printful, Printify, Custom Ink, Bonfire, and Gelato. We used the same 4-colour graphic artwork across all tests for consistency. We measured:

• Per-unit cost including all fees (blank, print, handling)
• Print quality: colour accuracy vs Pantone reference (Delta-E measurement)
• Durability: colour retention after 20 and 50 machine wash cycles (cold, inside-out)
• Fulfilment speed: actual order-to-ship time vs quoted
• Returns handling: tested with deliberate wrong-size orders

For blank tee comparison, we tested 6 blanks (Bella+Canvas 3001, Gildan 64000, Gildan 5000, Next Level 3600, American Apparel 2001, Comfort Colors 1717) via a single RushOrderTees screen-print order placed February 2026, then washed 50 times each.
